The above is a simple chart I prepared to show how many times the Lord Jesus spoke
of the purpose of His mission to earth.
You would notice that it was simply, to draw people unto Himself, to
establish ‘The Kingdom of God’ in man’s heart, by dying to set man free from
his sin, and prevent him from going into a lost eternity.
He
was explicit in the use of many parables, in communicating His message to the
world.
Thus the four evangelists use the phrase “Kingdom of Heaven” or “Kingdom
of God” sometimes inter changeably, in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and
John.
Incidentally, the word “Church” is twice mentioned, only in
the Gospel of Matthew.
Notice
that it is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself who spoke all these truths, which is
more the reason, we ought to pay close attention to what God's word say about eternal
life.
Accordingly, we ought to build our lives upon this solid rock, The Lord Jesus Christ Himself, rather than
have our own notions concerning of what is said about truth.
Ask
yourselves the question? Am I to follow the traditions that were passed on to
me since my childhood, which I have believed and faithfully followed all my life?
Or
should I accept what God tells me in His word, and obey His commands?
Think about it. What do you
say?
Will
the Creator accept the majority belief systems, for Salvation taught and
portrayed by the so called church and her leadership of this present generation?
Or rather
would He not do, as already stated in His eternal word, which is established in
Heaven?
What
if the believers of the Lord Jesus, would be a minority on Earth? Would He,
still not Honor His Word?
The
Gospel of Matthew has Twenty Eight Chapters, and it tells us that, John the
Baptist warns about the coming “Kingdom of Heaven” once and Jesus
teaches about the “Kingdom of Heaven” thirty one times. Matthew also tells us that, Jesus talked about
the “Kingdom of God” five times in his Gospel.
Mark
talks about the “Kingdom of God” in his Gospel twice, while Jesus preaches
about the “Kingdom of God” thirteen times in Sixteen Chapters.
Luke
mentions the “Kingdom of God” seven times and Jesus teaches about the
“Kingdom of God” twenty five times, in the Twenty Four Chapters of his
Gospel.
John
talks about the “Kingdom of God” in his Gospel twice, in just one
chapter (John 3:3, 5)
Jesus
tells us that He will build His Church
only once in the Gospel of Matthew, (16:18) and He instructs how His
Church should deal with rebels in the body
of believers.
The other three Gospels do
not even mention the word “Church”.
Thus my observation and take
of the word of God is, that God is concerned that people believe in His Son,
and begin life in His Kingdom on earth, allowing the Holy Spirit to gather people
around the Lord Jesus Christ, Who forms the body of Christ on earth.
This then becomes the Church
that Christ builds, which the gates of Hell cannot prevail against.
At
this point, my simple question to all of you is, what do you think, what was the Creator’s
objective in sending His Son, on a Mission to earth?
Was
it to build a so called Church on earth, as it seems to be the common understanding of
everyone today?
Or
was it to win people into The Kingdom of God, and save them from going into a
lost eternity???
Given
Below are Scriptures that simply warn us, about what and how the Creator will deal
with people in that day, as everyone is required to go before Him for Judgment.
(Ecclesiastes 12:7)
Finally,
I must say that, in His wondrous grace, the Creator extends to us, another day
for repenting of all our foolish notions, rectifying our error, that we may be
reconciled to Him.
Therefore
I seriously urge you to reconsider the facts of His word, and in humility obey
Him, knowing that everyone would be judged according to His sovereign word,
that ultimately will determine, where we would spend eternity.
We
read in the New Testament as follows:
(Matt.7:21-23)
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
And the New Testament also states the following:
(Matt 5:18 [KJV])
For
verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall
in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
(Matt 24:35 [KJV])
Heaven
and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(Mark 13:31 [KJV])
Heaven
and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
(Luke 16:17 [KJV])
And
it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
(Luke 21:33 [KJV])
Heaven
and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
(1Pet 1:25 [KJV])
But
the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
And in the Old
Testament as follows:
(Isa 51:6 [KJV])
Lift
up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens
shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and
they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever,
and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
(Isa 40:8 [KJV])
The
grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for
ever.
(Ps 119:89 [KJV])
LAMED.
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
(Ps 119:104 [KJV])
Through
thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
(Ps 119:130 [KJV])
The
entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
(Ps 119:140 [KJV])
Thy
word is very pure: therefore thy servant
loveth it.
(Ps 119:160 [KJV])
Thy
word is true from the beginning: and every one of
thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
The Lord Bless you
